KE is pursuing an additional 1,400 MW supply from national grid by constructing two new interconnections which include 500kV KKI KKI Grid station and 220kV NTDC Interconnection TL Dhabeji grids and KKI, augmentation at NKI, Step up Grid for 600MW, and addition of Transmission Line for 350MW renewable plants. In this regard, the contractual modalities with NTDC and CPPA have been agreed and are currently awaiting CCoE approval.
